Prema Zakonu o Hrvatskom Crvenom križu (NN 71/10) tradicionalno se već dugi niz godina obilježava Tjedan borbe protiv tuberkuloze, od 14. do 21. rujna. Na taj način želi se informirati građane, oboljele osobe i članove njihovih obitelji o prevenciji i suzbijanju tuberkuloze u našoj zemlji
